Basic Chemicals Business Sector-
We are actively developing overseas methanol joint ventures and sales businesses by making use of our extraction technologies for natural gas, which is used as a raw material for methanol products, and our accumulated manufacturing technologies.
We provide highly unique products such as MXDA and aromatic aldehyde.
We provide chemical intermediates focusing primarily on methanol and ammonia value chains, such as methylamines, MMA/MAA, and derivatives.
We provide xylene separation products/derivatives and formalin/polyol-based products.
We explore and develop resources such as oil and natural gas. We also conduct environmental business such as geothermal power generation.
We use technologies accumulated over many years to develop and manufacture health food ingredients and other products.
We promote product and process innovations relating to company products.
Specialty Chemicals Business Sector-
Inorganic Chemicals Business
The Inorganic Chemicals Business pursues business activities focusing on hydrogen peroxide, which is used as a non-chlorine bleaching agent and industrial oxidizer, and on highly pure cleaning agents employed by the electronics industry, which are used mainly in the field of semiconductors.
Engineering Plastics Business
The Engineering Plastics Business offers Iupilon® polycarbonate, and other engineering plastics, including Iupital® polyacetal, and Reny® high-performance polyamide.
Optical Materials Business
The Optical Materials Business offers products with high optical properties, such the special polycarbonate resin, Iupizeta™, and plastic ophthalmic lens monomer characterized by higher refractive index.
Electronics Materials Business
The Electronics Materials Business offers products that are indispensable for the electronics industry. These include printed circuit board laminates used for IC plastic package board and other applications, and LE Sheet®, a support material for drilling holes in PCBs.
Oxygen Absorbers Business
The Oxygen Absorbers Business offers AGELESS® oxygen absorbers and a wide array of comprehensive quality-retention solutions for a broad range of applications.
