Chemical Resistance
Nylon-MXD6 dissolves in strong acids like concentrated sulfuric acid and formic acid. It also dissolves in phenols like met cresol. However, it is quite stable against many other chemicals.
Table 4 shows the chemical resistance of injection molded products of Nylon-MXD6 (Note: dumb-bell specimen).
