Mitsubishi Gas Chemical has been selected as a "Supplier Engagement Leader 2022" - The highest rating in the CDP Supplier Engagement Rating (SER)

　Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masashi Fujii) has been selected as a "Supplier Engagement Leader 2022," the highest rating, in the "Supplier Engagement Rating" (SER) conducted by CDP (Head Office: London, United Kingdom), an international non-profit organization that conducts environmental surveys and information disclosure.

　"SER" assesses how companies engage with their suppliers regarding greenhouse gas emissions reduction and climate change risk management across the entire supply chain. In 2022, the top 8% of surveyed companies (653 global companies, 131 Japanese companies) have been selected as "Supplier Engagement Leaders".

　Among our key issues (materiality), climate change issues are listed as several factors, such as "Solve energy and climate change problems (Creating shared value: CSV)" and "Proactive response to environmental problems (Harmonization of shared-value creation with environmental preservation: Environment)". We recognize that resolving these problems is an important management issue for our company.
