Donation for June 2026 Venezuela Earthquake Relief

 Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (MGC; President: Yoshinori Isahaya; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) extends its deepest sympathies to all those who has been affected by the earthquakes that struck the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on June 24, 2026.

 MGC decided to donate 10 million yen to support relief and recovery efforts for areas affected by the earthquake. The donation will be made through Japan Platform, a certified non-profit organization.

 MGC has invested “Metanol de Oriente, METOR, S.A.”, a joint venture that produces and sells methanol in Venezuela. Venezuela is one of the important locations for MGC’s methanol business.

 MGC hopes for the earliest possible recovery of the affected communities.
