CHINAPLAS 2024

　Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (MGC; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masashi Fujii) will present our group’s high-performance thermoplastic materials at CHINAPLAS 2024, scheduled between April 23rd and 26th in China.

　MGC and its three affiliates, Mitsubishi Engineering-Plastic Corporation (MEP), Global Polyacetal Co., Ltd. (GPAC), and Korea Polyacetal Co., Ltd. (KPAC), will jointly participate in the world’s leading plastics and rubber trade fair. MGC will present high-barrier nylon resins for food/beverage packaging, thermoplastic polyimide resins, and polycarbonate sheets/films for automotive. MEP, GPAC, and KPAC will introduce new engineering plastic products and technologies for automotive, electric & electronic, and medical markets. We will also introduce a concept to utilize “Circular Carbon Methanol”, which are manufactured using carbon dioxide, plastic wastes, and biomass raw materials, to produce engineering plastics.
