MGC Selected as a constituent of “FTSE Blossom Japan Index”

Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (MGC; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masashi Fujii) is pleased to announce that the company has been selected for the first time as a constituent of “FTSE Blossom Japan Index” world-leading ESG（Environmental, Social and Governance) indexes.
The index is designed by FTSE Russell to measure the performance of Japanese companies that demonstrate strong ESG practices. The index is constructed so that industry weights align with the Japanese equity market. Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) of Japan selects the index for its latest ESG passive fund.
