Neofade (damping material)
Neofade is a damping material based on advanced polyester resin.
We provide Neofade as sheet (thickness; 1mm, 2mm, other thickness).
Other shape of Neofade such as pellets or laminated with a sound absorption foam, are also available.
Functions
- Excellent vibration-damping property.
- Suppresses structural resonance, preventing vibration and noise.
- Also effective as a noise reduction, as it attenuates solid object vibration, which causes noise.
- Rapidly attenuates vibrations even in hard, heavy materials such as iron.
Features
- Complies with RoHS directive: does not contain halogen or heavy metals such as lead.
- Recyclable /Reprocessable.
- Odorless.
- Can be tuned for target temperature /frequency.
