Meta-xylenediamine is an aliphatic diamine with an aromatic ring, sometimes called an aralifatic amine. Current applications are as a raw material for polyamide (Nylon) and various chemical intermediates, as well as an epoxy curing agent that works at low temperature.At present, we have two plants in Japan, capable of producing around 60 million pounds of Meta-xylenediamine annually.
