AR(Aromatic Resin)

AR is a uniquely-synthesized mesophase pitch, produced by catalytic synthesis from naphthalene. Unlike competing products that use petroleum residue or coal tar as a feedstock, MGC uses a monomer - resulting in a consistent quality mesophase pitch. Surprisingly, the produced AR shows a very low softening point and low viscosity in the molten stage, while retaining a high coking value (and 100% mesophase).
