President’s Message

Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company develops business in a wide range of fields from basic chemicals to specialty chemicals and advanced materials.
Since MGC was established, we have been developing innovative new technology and materials in accordance with our company motto, “To offer unique products through original technology.”
Recently developments in the automobile and electronics industries as well as industries related to information communications via optical fiber have been outstanding.

By offering material to these industries we play a behind-the-scenes role in supporting their development.
We are making persistent efforts to develop applications and research, which has led to a renewed focus on our major products Methanol and Hydrogen peroxide as efficient raw materials to preserve the environment.

In the twenty-first century, demand for technology that responds to environmental issues and promotes a high level of information is increasing and diversifying year by year. We at MGC are specializing, differentiating and creating high performance products that can respond to these demands through our research and development programs.

In line with our management philosophy, “To contribute to the development and peace of society through the creation of a diverse range of value based on chemistry,” we at MGC look forward to continued encouragement and support from our stakeholders.
